De ENET-kabel is voorzien van een RJ45 Ethernet-connector en een OBD2 16-pins connector voor aansluiting op BMW F-, G- en I-modellen (vanaf productiejaar 2008).
De kabel is compatibel met alle beschikbare softwareoplossingen, waardoor de gebruiker vrij een programma kan kiezen dat aan zijn of haar behoeften voldoet (bijv. ISTA, E-SYS, INPA, enz.).
